Job Description

• To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management fo staff, management of production and quality target and to ensure the smooth running of production processes.
• To take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line with the company’s quality systems, processes and procedures.
• Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff
• Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issues.
• To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff.
• To ensure that Health and safety rules regulations are adhered to during the shift.
• To work closely with other shift supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective communications tools
• Maintain housekeeping standard to ensure and safe workplace.

 Requirement

1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering and related field.
2. Two years minimum experience in manufacturing and related position (optics environment will be add advantage)
3. Experience with MRP system (SAP, Oracle, etc)
4. Supervisory skill and ability to held training.
5. Knowledge of lean principles, raw material, production processes, quality control, cost and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
6. Six sigma or lean manufacturing certified is an advantage.
