This position is responsible for minimize shortages and keep costs down. The job is not only about logistics and purchasing inventory. They oversee and manage overall supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost of organization’s supply chain.  Responsibilities : 

• Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
• Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import / export agreements.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs house brokers, warehouse managers and related parties to ensure that appropriate import and export compliance procedures are followed by employees and contracted service providers. 
• Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects.
• They must optimize operational resources while executing cost reductions and inventory controls.
• They conduct monthly capacity and performance analyses to ensure that forecasts and schedules are aligned and integrated. 
• Manage and update any tracking or reporting tools to monitor accuracy and on-time execution of deliverables for each initiatives.
• Identify root causes to supply chain-related gaps in project timelines and risks to deliverables. Develop problem solving skills within the team to ensure timely execution of customer queries. 

 Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
• Understanding of principles of accounting and finance.
• Previous experience with Supply Chain Management is essential. 
• Experience in conceptualizing, redefining, implementing and managing supply chains form an end to end perspective
• Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with vendors.
• Proven track record in strategic agility and operational excellence
