Job Responsibilities:

• Work together with Managing Director and other heads of function to manage the creation and communication of company strategy, business priorities and targets for regional teams and ensures there are systems in place to enable the shop managers to receive the information in a timely manner
• Give ideas about future retail activities to ensure a cutting edge strategy; maintains up todate knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends
• Manage and supports the retail element of the annual budget process ensuringunderstanding and buy in from the operations team. Constantly reviews financial data andsupports the Regional Managers in providing realistic input into the sales budgets
• Takes decisions on matters relating to the day to day retail operation within their definedwork area including the strategic planning of resources
• Translates the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targetedgrowth in sales and profit; identifies and optimises promotional opportunities ensuringthese are co -ordinated with wider Mind promotions and campaigns
• Ensures that the retail operation complies to all policies and procedures relating toSecurity, Health and Safety; influences any changes necessary to meet statutoryrequirements, ensuring minimum risk to staff members and the business
• Ensures all new shop proposals meet the required return on sales prior to submitting anyrecommendations to the Managing Director; all new shop locations must be visited toensure they will trade effectively and meet the proposed budgets
• Spends time in shops with retail shop teams and customers to understand and identifybusiness critical issues in order to ensure the alignment of tactics and strategies;maintains the corporate identity of Mind in all shops and related initiatives 

 Job Requirement:

• At least 7to 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Yangon.
• Have manage a more than 5 location branches before
• Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
• Have knowledge over supermarket, and hypermarket layout and structures.
• Able to set up and manage supermarket and hypermarket.
• Able to train and manage supermarket and hypermarket staff.
• Able to track sales performances and staff performance.
• Have network of supermarket shelving, fridges, technology.
• Able to grow supermarket fresh, frozen, diary food section
• Must possess a track record of increasing and sustaining sales growth and profitabilityeven in challenging market conditions such as the current economic climate.
• Must be able to determine a layout of store merchandise that is visually appealing toconsumers. Able to instruct the store's management and employees on how to maintainthe design with the arrival of new merchandise and also how to optimize supermarketspace
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
