Manager - Mechanical , Electrical and Plumbing ( MEP ) Engineering Coordinator JOB SUMMARYThe MEP Engineering Coordinator will responsible for the design, analysis, supervision, implementation all standardization activities in the planning & development and installations of mechanical, electricty/electrical, plumbing (MEP) and utility accesses. KEY RESPOSIBILITIES Compliance

1. Responsible for monitoring the adherence to proper national and international standards in overall MEP development, planning and access activities including MEP design and implementation.
2. Elaborate technical spesifications for MEP equipment, tools, software and procedures for enhancing the performance of the project development activities.

Technical Advisory

1. Prepare detailed engineering design for MEP construction material, including design calculation, detailed coordination studies, equipment selection and spesification.
2. Responsible for the review and evaluation of MEP system and equipment, and recommend new state of art improved spesification or changes if required.
3. Elaborate and update documentations on technical spesifications of the usual MEP systems and equipment.
4. Determine regularly the needs in MEP systems and material and plan their acquisition.
5. Liaise with the procurement entity to determine necessary technical spesifiactions for tendering process with regards to the acquistion of MEP system and equipment.
6. Provide technical assistance in the bid analysis and evaluation leading to the selection of cost effective MEP systems and equipment.

Contract Management

1. Monitor the execution of contracts in collaboration with support procurement units within company regarding the supply of MEP systems and material.
2. Elaborate the procurement Plan of MEP Development in collaboration with all units of the company and make the follow-up of its execution.
3. Monitor project implementation and liaise with the national utilities to ensure that the contractors/ supliers comply with utility practise in the country.

Systems Improvement and Management

1. Prepare and present periodic reports highlighting issues and solutions, together with improvements for the unit.
2. Develop systems and experience within the team to ensure project construction (MEP) are have best quality, effective, efficient, and on budget all times.

Leadership

1. Provide leadership to the unit staff and supervise and manage their performance and development in line with the Organization’s goal objectives, policies and regulation.
2. Develop a departmental annual work plan and financial budget and monitor their implementation inline with the Business Plan.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree in mechanical / electrical / electronical engineering with minimum 5 years experience in handling MEP systems including digital cabling for mall building construction projects, as well as office / apartment building projects in Consultancy / Owner of Projects Company.
2. Good English proviciency.
3. Hands on experience in negotiation skills.
4. Good computer literacy - Ms. Office (word, excel, power point), CAD program.
5. Contract employment status.
6. Willing to travel throughout Indonesia to all project locations when needed.
